Iron Ore is a resource item that is needed to make iron and steel ingots.
Obtaining
It can be obtained by mining in Gryphon Roost and Black Rock Springs (Heartlands), Applewood mountains and Applewood Mines
Loot from Mobs
It can be found in large bunches from a defeated Dragon. Alternatively, a it can be found in small amounts from a Husky Diamond Dog's loot.
Reward
Way Out gives the player 20 iron ore for helping him out of the Crystal Caves (repeatable).
