Sawbuck is an earth pony NPC who can be found on the a bridge leading to the Boutique in Ponydale. Just like Bagels, he tells the player rather roughly to leave him alone when spoken to. At unknown times, he can be seen walking around the Ponydale Park.

- "Whaddya want?"
- "Hmmm, where to strike next....... Wait! Pay no attention to that!
- "What kind of world do we live in where a guy can't quietly introspect without being interrupted."
- "Heh. Heh heh. HAHAHA! Oh, that's good stuff."
- "Two, maybe three? Probably two. No, three, just to be safe."
- "Woah, where'd you come from? Why don'tcha go back to wherever that was, eh?"
- "Naah, how often does anypony go out there anyway. Not like the rain's gonna unearth it."
- "I wish I could be there to see their faces when- Eh? Oh hey. Don't mind me."
- "Do you really have to bother me now? I'm, uhhh, going to the store to buy cupcakes!"
Trivia
- Prior to the Open Server Event 6, Buck was a male and had a reddish coat.
- In Open Server Event 10, Buck was renamed to Sawbuck and was resized to become a filly.
