Save the Date
Save the Date is a quest given by Stun Law from the Gem Mines. It is a relatively short quest that requires the player to make a trip to Cantermore in order to set up a trust fund for a beneficiary.
Quest initiation
Stun Law can be found on the right side of the table at the entrance of the mine. He is surprised to meet the player, mentioning that they look so different because they are younger. Further questioning by the player will make him reveal his birth name, Walnut, as well as the time travel mishap that resulted in him getting stuck in the current time period. He mentions that he had been keeping himself to Ponydale so as to not meet his younger self and mess up the timeline.
As such, he asks the player to assist him instead by setting up a trust for his younger self to enroll in the Cantermore University. He passes the player 3000 bits to do so, mentioning that he already knew that the player would help him as he has received the money.
Journal: I've met a stallion who insists he's traveled through time and is now stuck in his own past. He wants me to setup a trust fund for his younger self and has provided the needed funds. I just need to visit the Cantermore Bank and set that up so the timeline will be secure.

Setting up the trust fund
Salarymane can be found outside the Cantermore Bank, located at the southeast quarter of Cantermore's market district. The player can set up a trust fund by talking to him.
Various dialogue choices relating to the beneficiary's name, the fund amount, the requirements for the fund and the benefactor's name will be given, but only the right choices will be accepted.
Journal: It wasn't my most scintillating of conversations, but a bank representative has helped me setup Walnut's anonymous trust fund. Now to go report to Stun Law that the timeline has been maintained.

Quest completion
After successfully setting up the fund, return to Stun Law. He already knows that the player had set up the fund and the timeline has been maintained. He rewards the player with some time, in the form of 10 Temporal Scraps, while the player also gains 1000 XP in all talents.
