Jeering Shout is an expert Combat ability that taunts mobs, increasing the chance that mobs will target the user instead of any other player. In a party, this ability is useful in making sure that only the user (usually assuming the tank role) gets targeted, sponging up all the damage.

The basic ability continuously taunts all nearby mobs for for 0.5 seconds. Additionally, the next combat ability used (within 10 seconds) will also cause 1.5x the usual chance of mobs targeting the player.

This skill is automatically granted to players that specialize in the Combat Talent. Otherwise, it requires 500 Training Points (TP) to learn.

Upgrades

Get 'em Angry

Get 'em Angry upgrades raise the chance that mobs will target the player when a combat skill is used on them immediately following Jeering Shout. The grace period to cast the next combat skill remains constant at 10 seconds.

1 1 10 Increases the chance of mobs targeting the player to 1.75x with the next combat move
1 10 15 Increases the chance of mobs targeting the player to 2x with the next combat move
2 20 20 Increases the chance of mobs targeting the player to 2.25x with the next combat move
3 30 30 Increases the chance of mobs targeting the player to 2.5x with the next combat move
4 40 40 Increases the chance of mobs targeting the player to 3x with the next combat move

Verbal Jousting

Verbal Jousting increases the duration which the player taunts mobs. This means that if the player is moving around as they cast Jeering Shout, they can potentially draw in more mobs.
