Wind Rapier is a Flying skill which launches wind blades in front of the player. Each blade covers a 60-degree arc, dealing splash damage to enemies in a cone-shaped region facing away from the player.

The base ability requires at least 6 Rapier Stacks to cast. Rapier Stacks can be obtained by performing any other Flying talent skill. Each stack lasts 30 seconds, and will decrease by 1 after that time if no new stacks are gained. Excess Rapier Stacks are consumed when the skill is cast, so players should only build up to the maximum possible blades they can cast.

This skill is automatically granted to players that specialize in the Flying Talent. Otherwise, it requires 500 Training Points (TP) to learn.

Upgrades

Wind Dervish

Wind Dervish upgrades reduce the number of Rapier Stacks consumed by each Wind Rapier blade, effectively lowering the minimum number of Rapier Stacks required to cast the skill. The upgrade also increases the maximum number of blades that can be simultaneously produced when casting Wind Rapier, multiplying the damage output with no additional Energy cost.

Note that the skill will always try to create the maximum number of blades based on the number of Rapier Stacks the player has available.

Wind Fencing

Wind Fencing upgrades increase the distance travelled by each wind blade. The final tier upgrade increases the arc covered by the blades instead, allowing them to hit more targets not directly in its path of travel.
