Unsaddling Implications
Unsaddling Implications is a quest that is obtained from a stallion named Pumpkin Pie in The Heartlands. It is a fairly simple quest requiring only 2 interactions.
Quest initiation
Pumpkin Pie can be found in The Heartlands by his farm with the pumpkin patch. When spoken to, he asks the player for assistance. If the player agrees to help, he will reveal that he lost a saddle in the midst of preparing it as a present for his wife, and suspects that a dog has gotten away with it.
Journal: An earth-pony, Pumpkin Pie, approached me near the Pumpkin Patch and asked me if I could find a black leather saddle he bought for his wife as a Hearts and Hooves Day present. I'll go see if I can find it.
- Search for the saddle
Finding the saddle
The saddle is located behind two small huts just across from Pumpkin Pie. The player simply has to walk into the quest marker to collect the saddle.
Journal: I found the chewed-up and slobbery but still functional saddle in a dog house on the property.
- Give the saddle to Pumpkin Pie
Quest completion
Upon returning the saddle to Pumpkin Pie, he will insist on rewarding the player with 50 Bits and the player will also gain 200 XP in all talents. The Going to the Dogs quest will also be made accessible on completion of this quest.
Journal: I have returned the missing saddle to Pumpkin Pie. The farmer was exceedingly relieved, and insisted on paying me for the deed.
