Messerschmitt's Letter of Recommendation is an item obtainable from Commodore Messerschmitt during the A Four Star Restaurant quest as a reward for finding his lost speech. Since it has no known purpose and cannot be sold, it permanently renders one of the player's inventory or bank slots useless.

Trivia

• As of build v 2018.03.02, it is possible to store this letter in the player's bank, no longer permanently render one of the player's inventory slots useless.
• Despite Commodore Messerschmitt's title being changed to "Commodore" in later versions, the description still refers to him as a "general".
