Energy Materia is a consumable item required for pegasus ponies to use Frost and Lightning-based Weather abilities.

Unicorns with level 11 or higher in the Science talent can infuse Frozen Essence Drops at the top of the Alien Torch located in The Heartlands. Climbing Boots are recommended to prevent slipping off the structure while scaling it.

Interacting with the infusion spot will attempt to convert all Frozen Essence Drops in the player's inventory to Energy Materia, granting 10 XP per Drop consumed. At higher Science levels, more Energy Materia can be crafted from the same number of Frozen Essence Drops. The conversion ratios are as follows:

• Level 11: 2 Frozen Essence Drops to 1 Energy Materia
• Level 20: 1 Frozen Essence Drops to 1 Energy Materia
• Level 29: 2 Frozen Essence Drops to 3 Energy Materia
• Level 38: 1 Frozen Essence Drops to 2 Energy Materia
